Support wellbeing in your workplace - request a PAT lunchtime visit

A lunchtime visit from Pets As Therapy offers your colleagues a moment to pause, connect and recharge. Our specially assessed therapy dogs and volunteers can visit your offices for a relaxed couple of hours where staff can meet, interact and enjoy time with our pets.

If you would like a one-off visit to your workplace, please email patworkplace@petsastherapy.org for more information.

The cost of a visit is dependent on the number of volunteers and their dogs, your location and timing.

Why host a PAT workplace visit?

Research and experience both show that interaction with therapy animals can:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Boost mood and morale
  • Support mental wellbeing in busy working environments
  • Provide a simple, inclusive wellbeing activity accessible to all staff

For many employees, particularly those living in cities or away from home, time with a friendly dog can be a powerful emotional lift during the working day.

I was having a stressful day at work, but spending time with the dogs completely changed my mood.

What the visit includes

A typical workplace visit includes:

  • Four to six registered Pets As Therapy dogs and their volunteer handlers
  • A maximum two-hour lunchtime session for staff to drop in and meet the dogs
  • Informal conversations with volunteers about the dogs and the work they do
  • Optional information about how staff can support or volunteer with Pets As Therapy

Email us at patworkplace@petsastherapy.org to discuss and find out more about costs.
